Vasiliki – Rafaela VAKOUFTSI

Vasiliki-Rafaela Vakouftsi is President of the Greek Patients' Association and President of the Association of People with Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis in Greece. She has completed the EFCCA Academy - Training Certified Patient Experts: Training on Clinical Trials, EFCCA YOUTH Academy: Leaders for Tomorrow and the Patient Expert Training Programme of EUPATI (European Patients' Academy on Therapeutic Innovation). In all these years of her involvement with patient associations she has participated in numerous conferences at national, European and international level, in several of them as a speaker, while as a patient representative she actively participates in numerous committees and working groups in national and European institutions concerning health policy, patient rights, clinical trials etc.

Finally, articles in which she has participated as an author have been published in reputable scientific journals and presented at conferences.
