Julie SPONY

Julie Spony is a Project officer in the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) secretariat at the European Commission. In this role, she is responsible for the involvement of patients and clinicians in joint clinical assessments and joint scientific consultations.
Julie has a multidisciplinary background in law, economics and political science, and holds a Master's degree in European Affairs from Sciences Po Lyon in France. Prior to joining the European Commission, Julie was a Policy Officer at the European Patients' Forum, concentrating on EU pharmaceutical legislation and the EU HTA Regulation, while also gaining experience in rule of law issues at both the European Commission and the European Parliament.
