Dr Christina Kyriakopoulou is a senior policy officer in health research at the Directorate General for Research and Innovation at the European Commission. She holds a PhD in biochemistry and she held postdoctoral positions in the areas of molecular biology and genome analysis.
Christina joined the European Commission in 2003 and contributes to the European’s Union research policy and the work programmes development for health research in the areas of genomics, rare diseases, innovative technologies of health data analyses, including in-silico tools for personalised medicine and artificial intelligence for health.
