Labrini PAPAGEORGIOU

Labrini serves as the Health Policy Director at Rare Diseases Greece and is a Global Health Policy expert with extensive and well-rounded experience, having held roles in a multinational pharmaceutical corporation, an international intergovernmental organization, a civil society group, and a national governmental authority.

Driven by an unwavering passion for advancing global health, she is collaborating with healthcare ecosystem stakeholders worldwide to develop evidence-based, integrated policy solutions that enhance system performance and drive meaningful change for communities.

She holds a degree in Molecular Biology & Genetics from Democritus University of Thrace, specialized in Pharmaceutical Economics and Policy at the London School of Economics, and further advanced her expertise in Public Health at Columbia University. Labrini has lived and worked in Greece, Kenya, Switzerland, and the USA.
