
András Tivadar KULJA
András Kulja, MD, is a healthcare professional, a surgeon, with a rich academic and professional background, combining medical expertise with health communication. He holds a medical degree from the University of Semmelweis where he has furthered his education with a master in healthcare administration and management, in addition to leveraging e-health workforce by advanced skills by IESE Business School. He is also a founding lecturer of health communication courses in the University of Semmelweis.
Alongside his work in healthcare, Kulja is also the creator of a popular TikTok channel, where he uses social media to simplify complex medical topics for a broader audience. His channel, with more than 370.000 followers and more than millions of views, focuses on public health education and illustrating the latest trends in medicine and healthcare technology.
He joined the TISZA party to restore democratic values in Hungary, support an open dialogue and advance the healthcare system. Although a newly elected MEP, Kulja achieved to secure important roles within the Parliament, and is now serving as a Vice Chair in the Committee of Environment, Climate change and Food Safety and Deputy Coordinator for EPP in the Committee of Public Health.
